A review period will be assigned to your application, depending on the type of building and nature of the proposed application. This timeframe is based on submission of a complete application, and includes zoning review.

Prescribed Review Periods for Building Permit Applications

The Building permit approval/refusal decision for low rise buildings shall be provided to the applicant within 7 working days and for medium and high rise buildings within 20 working days when available at the department.

Prescribed Review Periods for Occupancy Applications

The Completion Occupancy approval/refusal decision for these applications shall be provided within 30 working days when available at the department.
